The story behind Sakoon
Sakoon Counselling was founded by psychotherapist Ayesha Aslam in 2006 after recognising a need for professional counselling that also understood the importance of faith, culture, family and identity.
Since then, Sakoon has developed into a professional counselling and training organisation supporting individuals, couples and families while contributing to the development of future counselling practitioners.
Our work brings together therapeutic theory, clinical experience, professional training and culturally sensitive practice.
